Hello everyone! It's coming up to the time of year we usually hold the Arts Festival, and unfortunately poor Ren is unable to put everything together at the moment. So! I have been collaborating with Rinku, Lisia, and Tsumugi to make sure we're able to bring the festival to you as usual this year.

[She claps her hands together.]

Now, we obviously can't do this all by ourselves, so we will be looking for assistants and, of course, participants! Artists, crafters, potion-makers, photographers, everyone is welcome at the artists' market. We will also have a stage set up for performing arts, a talent show, and dance. There will be food stalls, and plenty of games to play.

[And the Arts Festival wouldn't be complete without its usual tournament bouts.]

Naturally we will also be hosting the combat tournaments. They are a little different this year so make sure you read the entry conditions carefully before signing up. Lisia is also organising a Pokémon contest!

Arts Festival 218
(that's 2026 for us players)

The Arts Festival is an annual tradition founded in Amberfall but currently held in the Titanic Dome on the last weekend in April (so the 24th-26th this year). It celebrates art of all kinds, with an artists' market that allows the sale of everything from paintings to potions to handmade weapons and armour, a stage for performing arts, a dance floor, and a talent show. But there are other elements to the festival too, like the popular fighting tournaments, some non-combat tournaments, and plenty of food stalls and festival games.

This year's Arts Festival is a team effort, being put together by Guizhong

godofdust, the Music Club headed by Rinku

roundandaround, the Pokémon Fan Club headed by Lisia

contestidol, actors and tech crew assembled by Tsumugi

tsumtsuki, and assorted volunteers! This is an OOC plotting post for its various events and things you may want your characters to do for it.

All of the tournaments have a base reward of:
3rd Place: 200 moon coins
2nd Place: 500 moon coins
1st place: 2000 moon coins & a mystery gift

Signups for all the tournaments ends Thursday, April 23, 23:59 Pacific Daylight Time. The results will be RNGed and be revealed on an OOC post once the festival log goes up.

MANTA BOARD: APRIL 2026

The MANTA Board is posted every month, but the quests are on a "2 month cycle." This means quests can last for two months with possible updates or new additions in the second month before it completely refreshes for the next cycle. Players can do older quests so long as they did not have some kind of resolution or time limit on them.

For this month's board update, some quests have been updated to reflect progress from last month, with some carrying over as is.

Quests are separated into five categories and all have flat point values: General (4pts), Corsair (4pts), Paladin (4pts), Bounties (6pts), and Specials (12pts). Crew quests are listed under "Specials" and are worth the same amount of points (12pts). Although these quests are intended for established crews, non-members are allowed to assist if the crew invites them. However, non-members would only receive 6pts. Similarly, characters helping opposing armada quests will only be rewarded 2pts for participation unless specified otherwise. Special quests won't always be available so it may appear blank at times. These can range from group quests such as for special ship upgrades or island related quests, or they could be special event quests. All quest points can be used for the Rewards Shop.

If you wish to submit a quest, comment in the appropriate field during Activity Check with the quest written and we'll add it to the next month! Crews are also still allowed to make their own quests without our approval, but if uncertain players can comment here about them.

SAIL WITH ME: APRIL 2026

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

To help coordinate specific plots for players, we have a few designated toplevels that can be used to highlight particular plots, scenarios, etc. These can be useful for players who may not want to write a full comment but have ideas. Players who do write full CR comments can still use these toplevels and link their comment if you have your ideas in there instead.

Crew Recruitment. Players can make OOC ad posts for others to join, looking to join, or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.
Event Plotting. If there is something specific that you'd like to do or there is a prompt that you're interested in that may require more coordination, this is the place to try and hash it out! This is not for general plotting, such as "I will be doing A, B, and C;" please save those for general meme comments! Here is recap of the event notes from the Captain's Log for easy reference. This month we have our Winterstide event that doubles as our TDM.
Current Event Notes Recap:
- Ever wanted to narrate your thoughts and actions like in a play? No? Too bad it's happening now.
- The Grand Sipsa has appeared! Will you be drawn to the strange fishes to its even stranger island, or will you try to stop those who are under its effects? Will you become a fish?
- Strange sun and moon islands have appeared out of hiding and are trying to spread their influence! But their attempts went haywire when the ancient relic they tried to use exploded and the fragments are now affecting the weather everywhere. So not only do these weird sun and moon people need to be stopped, but there's also relic fragments to try and find to fix the weather.
Side Plotting. This is for any personal plots or MANTA Board quests that require more coordination, perhaps to bring about a resolution or make an important discovery of some kind. Like with the Event toplevel, this is NOT for generic plotting that would fit a general meme comment.

Hello, everyone!

Our March AC Check-in has now concluded and characters that didn't check in have been removed! If you forgot or just couldn't make it somehow, we have one week grace period where you can app back as normal! So you can app back before April 7th, 23:59 PST! After that you will have to wait a month before applying back to the game (so after May 1st)!

Special Surprise

Thanks to the efforts during the Nega-Ellipsa mission, everyone gets a small package in their favorite/signature color. Inside there's a plant of their favorite fruit/vegetable that will never die and will produce seven of said fruit/vegetable every week. This is a miniature plant they can put on a windowsill but the produce will be normal sized.
