[It had been a difficult couple of months since Rider had arrived in Ellipsa. Longer, if you count the time she spent fighting in the Grail War before that. And now that Sakura had disappeared, she had yet to work out what that meant for her, or what she should do now...
By this point, her head was spinning.
Perhaps it was for that reason that the Servant found herself seeking somewhere quiet, away from the bustling streets of the city proper. Of course, the place someone like her would find most relaxing? The library. Even if she couldn't read at the moment- she mentally scolded herself as her hand momentarily strayed to the fastening of her blindfold- the relative silence and the scent of the old books was a comfort enough.
So for now, she'd find a quiet corner to lurk and catch up with her thoughts, at least until she felt a familiar presence nearby...]
[ Napoleon needed a break too-- Ozzy had gotten on his nerves a bit too much that day, and he didn't really feel like blowing steam by taking on a quest or just blasting those snow skeletons with his cannon. ]
[ No, what he really needed to relax was a good book. There was a library nearby, so why not start there before he got into book collecting himself?
It really did make him miss Chaldea's library, though. Madame Murasaki did not skimp on the books, and every new servant had their history written out for easy access... which was great for him to get a handle on who had just showed up and what their deal was. But hey, who knows what treasures he'd find in this place's depths? ]
[ ...Speaking of treasures. He'd gotten pretty far into the stacks when he felt a familiar presence, and, deciding to take a look... ]
--Ah, Madame Medusa!
[ He smiled wide, approaching where she was. ]
Come to look at the books--?
[ --huh. She looked pretty down. And... wait. Could she even read in her current state? ]
[Ah. Yes, that was that familiar voice. He always sounded so delighted to run into her- that would take some getting used to. But his presence was warm. A large part of her needed that right now, even though she hadn’t thought to ask for it.
As to the question… it probably would sound strange to confirm she was looking at books she couldn’t even read right now, wouldn’t it? How to explain that…]
Action!
